KITI Nakuru fee structure

Well, regardless of which course you choose to pursue (should it be a diploma, certificate, or artisan program), you will pay Kshs. 83,500 per academic year.

In a nutshell, here is a breakdown of the fees per semester:

Semester 1 – Kshs. 45,500

Semester 2 – Kshs. 38,000

Total per academic year: Kshs. 83,500

 

Other payable levies

Apart from the above fee, there are additional mandatory levies that must be paid during admission, therefore budget accordingly.

They include:

  • Registration fee: Kshs. 500
  • Student levy: Kshs. 200
  • Student ID card: Kshs. 200
  • Library fee: Kshs. 700

In addition, make sure you have enough money to buy the materials you’ll need for the course, such as dust coats and engineering materials – depending on the course you’re taking.

Also, make sure you have enough money to cover your food and accommodation expenses.

KITI Nakuru course requirements

All diploma courses require at least a C- (minus) at KCSE, Certificate courses require a minimum KCSE mean grade of D (plain), while artisan courses require a grade of D- (minus) and below.

Moreover, if you choose to take a short course, all you need is a KCPE or KCSE certificate.
