Below is the Kaimosi TTC fee structure just in case you are planning to join Kaimosi teachers Training College 


Kaimosi TTC fee structure

Now, when I checked last, the Total fee was about Kshs 85,000 (Actual figure is Kshs. Ksh.84802.00) for the first year.

This is a slight increase from the Kshs. 79272.00 (1st year) that Kaimosi was charging for its teaching course in the past years.

Remember you pay as follows:

  • 50% of the fee = On joining
  • 30% of the fee = At the start of the second term
  • 20% of the fee = At the beginning of the third term

Minimum Cluster Subject Requirements

Subject 1 Mathematics C plain
Subject 2 English C plain
Subject 3 Kiswahili C plain
Subject 4 Biology  / Physics / Chemistry / General Sciences C plain
Subject 5 History And Government Or/ Geography  Or Cre (Christian Religious Education) Or  Islamic Religious Education Or Hindu Religious Education C plain

How to Apply

Any one  wishing to join Kaimosi TTC can only apply now through the KUCCPS portal….

That is because there’s a new policy that allows KUCCPS to place Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education(KCSE) candidates into Teacher Training Colleges.

Remember you can choose to join the Diploma in Primary Teacher Education(DPTE) or the Diploma in Early Childhood Development Teacher Education(DECTE) when applying to Kaimosi TTC.

Of course, it all depends on your grades- see the minimum requirements for both of these post-secondary education training courses above.
