A little bit history…

Borabu Technical Training Institute, sponsored by the Ministry of Education, was established in 2018 as a technical training institute on 5 acres of land in Nyamira County.

For the record, the college began with students majoring in ICT and electrical engineering.

But more courses have been added since then, including hairdressing, building, fashion design, human resources, supply chain management, and cooperative management.

Needless to say, the institute has trained graduates at various levels of study over the years. To be more specific, it has over 30 qualified trainers and over 700 trainees in various departments.

With that in mind, the courses offered, as well as any other important information about the institution, are listed below.

1.     Electrical & Electronics department

Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (Power Option)

Minimum entry requirements: KCSE mean grade of C- (minus) or a pass in certificate in electrical and electronics engineering (power option)

Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (Telecommunication Option)
