Where can I work with a certificate in orthopaedic and trauma medicine?
I’m afraid there are not many jobs for holders of the certificate level of the course- yeah, you might get a few openings here and there, mostly as an assistant to the Orthopedic Trauma Technologist but you cannot depend on them.
So I urge you to consider upgrading from the certificate to the Diploma in orthopaedic and trauma medicine as soon as you have completed your certificate (KMTC Offers the Upgrading from Certificate-to-Diploma qualification).
That way, you will be able to compete for the few meaningful jobs, majorly Orthopaedic Trauma Technician roles and Orthopaedic Technologist positions.
Which brings me to the question:
Which KMTC campus offers diploma in orthopaedic and trauma medicine?
For the Diploma (upgrading program), only the following campuses teach it:
Nairobi KMTC campus
Note that you can only apply during the March intake.
Nakuru KMTC campus
Meanwhile, you can only apply during September intake.
Good luck as you apply to join KMTC for the certificate in orthopaedic and trauma medicine!
