This is because the demand for doctors in Kenya and around the world is constantly increasing, making it the most marketable course in Kenya.

If you choose to pursue this path, you will be trained to be a doctor and a surgeon.

Therefore, to become a medical doctor (MBChB), you will typically undergo a six-year training program that includes both theoretical knowledge and practical clinical experience (internships).

Following graduation, you can pursue a variety of specialties, including surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, and others, each with its own earning potential.

So, if you want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery, you must have a KCSE mean grade of C+ (plus) or higher, as well as at least a B (plain) in each of the following subjects: Biology, Mathematics/Physics, and Chemistry/Physics.
