Johnson and Johnson nursing scholarships in Kenya
What we have currently is not a scholarship real…instead, it’s a loan for students who to study advanced nursing(and other medical courses)…the loan is a collaboration between Johnson and Johnson(J&J) Foundation and HELB(Higher Education Loans Board) …they recently established what they are calling Advanced Nursing Education Fund
Target groups
Practicing Nurses and Midwives seeking to specialize in areas such as oncology nursing, etc.
To be clear, you qualify for the loan if you want to take a higher diploma in a specialized nursing area in a recognized medical training institution based in Kenya
In addition:
Your organization (current employer) must be HELB compliant(compliant with the HELB Act.)..not in HELB arrears.

Amref International University has a scholarship in Diploma in Community Health- offered in partnership with Wolfson College- and successful applicants study at Amref International University.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify:
- You must come from any marginalized community(female candidates only) from Kenya- South Sudan, Somalia, and Ethiopia applicants from marginalized communities are also considered.
- You must satisfy the minimum admission requirements at Amref International University for Diploma in Community Health course..In fact, you must already have of an admission letter(for Diploma in Community Health) at AIU(Amref International University) to be eligible.
