Diploma in physiotherapy Requirements
You need the following grades (minimum) to pursue a diploma in physiotherapy at KMTC:
KCSE Mean Grade/aggregate: C plain

English or Kiswahili (languages): C plain
Biology: C-(C minus)

What about a Higher Diploma in Physiotherapy in Kenya?
Well, if you want to pursue the course at the Higher Diploma level, your options include taking:
- A Higher Diploma in OMT (Ortho-paedic Manual Therapy)
- Higher Diploma course in Neuro-rehabilitation
For these two Physiotherapy Higher diplomas (and both are taught at KMTC), you must either have an undergraduate degree (Bsc. Degree in Physiotherapy) or at least a Diploma in Physiotherapy(from accredited institutions).
Keep in mind that the courses take about 18 months to complete and you apply directly to KMTC via their website (you do not have to apply through KUCCPS as it is with the Diploma or even the Bsc. For fresh form 4 leavers).
Final words
I’m not aware of many Online physiotherapy courses in Kenya, unless you do one with foreign institutions (and you cannot be sure of getting licensed to practice)
Remember to get work (or practice) you must be registered officially with the PCK (Physiotherapy council of Kenya)
