1.   Certificate in Hospitality & Tourism Management(CHTM)

Career opportunities for graduates of the Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality  course at Zetech University

You can find well-paying administrative or management jobs in local hotels, motels, or resorts in addition to getting opportunities outside Kenya.

Some of the commonly available positions here are Hotel CEO, catering coordinator, entertainment manager, travel consultant, and more.

Minimum entry requirements

This is the most competitive hospitality course at Zetech University and you must have passed well in your KCSE to gain entry.

Specifically, you require the following grades:

• KCSE mean grade of C+.
• At least a C (plain) grade in any three of these units:
• Home science.
• Chemistry/ physics/ physical sciences/mathematics.
• Biology/biological sciences
• English/Kiswahili/or a foreign language such as French/German

You can also be allowed to join this programme with a diploma in hospitality (or a relevant discipline) as specified by Zetech University’s Senate.

Those with at least two principal passes together with one subsidiary in their KACE Certificate might also be accepted.

Lastly, students registered in other Universities recognized by Zetech University’s senate may be admitted (with credit transfers) to the programme on a case-by-case basis.

The course lasts 3 years instead of 4 years like in some universities because Zetech follows the trimester system.
