Nonetheless, the following are the general requirements for a diploma in clinical medicine and surgery in Kenya, including the diploma in clinical medicine and surgery KMTC requirements:

Minimum entry requirements:

KCSE mean grade of C (plain) or its equivalent

Cluster subjects and requirements:

  • C (plain) in Biology/Biological Sciences
  • C- (minus) in Chemistry/Physical Sciences
  • C (plain) in either English or Kiswahili

 

In addition, you should have at least a C- (minus) in any one of the following subjects: Mathematics or Physics/Physical sciences.

It’s also worth noting that the course takes duration of 3 years to complete.
