  • Loans – 48% of the total fee per year
  • Parent/Guardian to pay 20% of the total fee per year

 

Needy:

  • Government scholarships – 50% of the total fee per year
  • Loans – 30% of the total fee per year
  • Parent/Guardian to pay 20% of the total fee per year

 

Extremely needy:

  • Government scholarships – 70% of the total fee per year
  • Loans – 30% of the total fee per year

 

Vulnerable:

  • Government scholarships – 80% of the total fee per year
  • Loans – 20% of the total fee per year

Murang’a University fee structure – Accommodation

It’s worth noting that the university has limited accommodation facilities, which are prioritized for first-year students and those with disabilities on a first-come, first-served basis.

To be more specific, the hostels cost Kshs. 15,800 per academic year (2 semesters), which you must pay upon admission after confirmation that the hostels are available.

However, if you are unable to secure a place in the school’s hostel, you can live outside the university, where hostel rates range between Kshs. 3,000 and Kshs. 5,000 per month.
