It should be noted that if you apply as a government sponsored student, that means that you are a regular student.

Also, you should keep in mind that to be a regular student you have to apply through KUCCPS which you can only do when the KUCCPS portal is opened.

Side note: KMTC always announce through different social media platform when the KUCCPS portal is open for example through newspaper, radio, TV or even KMTC website.

However, if you would like to apply as a self-sponsored student, then, you will have to reach out to KMTC for information about when they have planned their next intake (for self-sponsored learners).

Entry requirements for Diploma in clinical medicine and surgery fee structure

To apply for this course, you must meet the following qualifications.

Regardless, it should be noted that the qualifications may slightly differ depending on the institution you want t to enroll in for this course.

Minimum entry requirements:

  • KCSE mean grade of C plain

Cluster Subjects qualifications:

  • C plain in English or Kiswahili
  • C plain in Biology/Biological Sciences
  • C-minus in Chemistry/Physical Science

Additionally, you must have a C-minus in any one of the following subjects: Mathematics, Physics/Physical Sciences
