Masters

For any master course that you would like to pursue, below are the requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with at least 2nd Class Honours (Upper Division) from JKUAT or a University/Institution recognized by the University Senate in relevant fields.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree with at least Second Class Honours (Lower Division) from JKUAT or a University/Institution recognized by the University Senate, in relevant fields with proven research abilities and or at least 3 years’ experience.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree with a Pass in relevant fields with proven research abilities and or at least 5 years’
  • working experience.
  • Postgraduate Diploma from JKUAT or a University/Institution recognized by University Senate in relevant field
  • Any other qualifications from an institution recognized by the University Senate as equivalent to 1, 2 and 3 above in relevant fields.

Any Doctorates course

  • Master’s degree from JKUAT or any University/Institution recognized by JKUAT senate in a relevant field

Postgraduate Diplomas

  • A Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Class Honours from JKUAT or University/ Institution

recognized by the University Senate.

  • A Bachelor’s degree with a Pass from JKUAT or a University/Institution recognized by the University Senate, and proven work-related experience in relevant field for at least three years.

Application is done online through KUCCPS (to get government sponsorship) or the JKUAT application portal, if you will be self sponsored (or you’re applying for a short course).
