1. Bachelor of Medicine and bachelor of Surgery
Minimum requirements:
For KCSE holders:
KCSE mean grade of C+ (Plus) or equivalent
In addition to the overall grade, you must have passed in the following cluster subjects:

- Biology B (Plain)
- Chemistry B (Plain)
- Physics/Mathematics B (Plain)
- English/Kiswahili B (Plain)
Alternative B:
- Biological Sciences B (Plain)
- Physical Sciences B (Plain)

- English/Kiswahili B (Plain)
For diploma holders:
A diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from a recognized Medical Training Institution and you must also be registered as a Clinical Officer.
Additionally, you must meet the minimum University entry requirements of a KCSE mean grade of C+ (Plus) or Division II at O-Level.
For degree holders:
You are also eligible for the course if you have a bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields:

Minimum entry requirements:
For KCSE holders:
You should have a mean grade of at least C+ (Plus) at KCSE.
In addition, you must also meet one of the following alternative cluster subject requirements:

- Chemistry B (Plain)
- English/Swahili B (plain)
- Physics/Mathematics C+ (plus)
