Intakes

JKUAT usually have its intakes three times in a year that is on January, May and, September for all the Programmes except for the bachelor degree Programmes which is done only once in a year, for example on  September intake only.

Application Procedure

To apply as a self-sponsored student, you apply internally at JKUAT main campus, or through its campuses countrywide.

  1. In short, you obtain the application form from any JKUAT branch near you.
  2. Next, you fill out the forms and attach all the instructed documents.
  3. Finally, you pay the non-refundable application fee that will depend on your course as follows;

Certificate Kshs. 500, diploma Kshs. 1000, and degree Programmes Kshs. 1500.

How to pay for your fee at JKUAT as a self-sponsored student

Just like any other student, you should pay your fee through the following banks accounts.

And just before I list the banks to pay your fee through, please not that direct deposit to JKUAT is not acceptable.

  1. Start by accessing M-Pesa menu from your phone
  2. Next, select “Lipa Na M-pesa” option.
  3. After that, select the “Pay Bill” option.
  4. Enter the “business number” 951200.
  5. From there, enter “account number”.
  6. Now, enter the amount you want to pay for your fee
  7. Then press send (remember to confirm all the information)
