Are Bachelor of Arts courses marketable?
Yes, they are, though the courses’ marketability is dependent on the arts degree you are pursuing.
With a bachelor of arts in education, for example, you are unlikely to be unemployed. This is because teachers are and will always be in demand because children are born every day and require education as they grow up.
Similarly, if you have an arts degree in fields such as economics, psychology, international relations, or language studies, you can find employment in a variety of sectors such as education, government, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), media, businesses, and more.
However, if you pursue a Bachelor of Arts in criminology and security studies or a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology, you will have to wait a little longer to find a good job because there aren’t as many jobs available.
So it all depends on the art degree program you choose.
