Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology (KIHBT) entry requirements for all the courses offered in the institution.
The Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology famously known as KIHBT is a government institute that has been that has been training students since 1948.
It is a very good institution that aims of to provide technical skills and knowledge to employees of the Ministry of Roads.
Just so you know, KIHBT offers higher Diploma, Diploma, Certificate, craft certificate, and a number of short courses.
Additionally, it is worth noting that it has 3 branches that include; Nairobi Main Campus, Ngong Campus, and Kisii Training Centre

KIHBT entry requirements [Application process, accommodation]
Application process
- To apply for any of the above courses at KIHBT, here is the simple step you need to follow.
- First, keep in mind that you must apply online, so visit KIHBT
- Next, on the website, click on the application process icon.
- By now, it should provide you with an application form.
- Here, fill in the form as instructed and please note that you must pay application fee worth Kshs. 1000 which is paid through National Bank Account Number 01020000832200.
Side note: Please follow all the instructions in the admission letter.
Also, keep in mind that you must attach the following details during your application.
These documents include:
- Copies of academic certificates
- Copies Of leaving certificates
- Photocopy of National Identification Card
- Banking Slip Number
