Universities offering bridging courses in Kenya

Before we proceed, please keep in mind the following:

  • Only one subject can be bridged at a time.
  • Each subject to be bridge contains five modules.
  • International students will pay 20% more on the tuition fee

It should also be noted that you must bridge a subject within two years of sitting for your KCSE exams.

With that in mind, the following universities in Kenya offer bridging courses:

1.     Multimedia University of Kenya

Bridging subjects:

  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • chemistry

Minimum entry requirements:

KCSE mean grade of C+ (plus) or its equivalent, with an equivalent qualification if you wish to join the university’s degree courses thereafter.

In addition, you should have a minimum grade of D+ (plus) in the subject you want to bridge.

Duration of study: 12 weeks

Fees: Kshs.29,000 per course

Duration of study: 3 months

Mode of study: Full-time, part-time(evening or weekends)

Intakes: January, May, and September for full-time students, and August for part-time students
