The HR Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources department.

This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and the delivery of excellent service to our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

  • Assist with day-to-day HR operations and provide administrative support to the HR team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and electronic.
  • Manage HR documentation, including contracts, onboarding materials, and policy documents.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
  • Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating communication with candidates.
  • Assist in the preparation of new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
  • Ensure all new hire paperwork is completed accurately and timely.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries and concerns.
  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Benefits Administration:

  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and provide necessary information.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist with the preparation of HR reports and analytics as required.
  • Participate in audits and compliance reviews as necessary.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in an HR administrative role, preferably within a retail industry environment. Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • relating to the four development areas stipulated in the PFM.
  • ⮚ In charge of the children Saturday program and holistic curriculum child
  • development implementation.
  • ⮚ Attends all Church Partnership Committee meetings.
  • ⮚ Initiates Networks and collaboration for increased resource mobilization and
  • beneficial partnerships.
  • ⮚ Depending on the felt needs, he/she is in charge of generating applicable proposals
  • for funding specific activities initiated by the Child Development Centre.
  • ⮚ And any duties that shall be assigned from time to time by the management
