Degree (Bachelor’s) in civil engineering requirements
You need these grades to be admitted into a Bsc. degree in civil engineering or a Bsc. In Civil & structural engineering in Kenya
KCSE Mean Grade(aggregate): C+ (Minimum)
Cluster Subject requirements and grades
- Mathematics-Minimum B+
- Physics – Minimum B+
- Chemistry- Minimum B
- English- Minimum B
- Geography/Biology- Minimum B
Other acceptable qualifications
National Diploma in areas such as Civil Engineering/Building and Construction or Water Engineering from an accredited institution (you must have a credit pass).
Please note that your diploma need to have taken 3 academic years to attain and you must have scored a C(Plain) KCSE mean aggregate plus a C+ in Maths as well as Physics (in KCSE) to stand a chance.
Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering (or its Equivalent) you must have a credit pass too.
