Certificate in Health Records and Information Technology

Requirements:

KCSE mean grade of C- (minus) or its equivalent, with at least D (plain) in English/ Kiswahili, and D- (minus) in Biology, Mathematics/ Physics.

 

Fees:

Tuition per trimester: Kshs. 34,550

Statutory fee: Kshs. 12,000

 

Course duration:

6 trimesters

 

Mode of study:

Full time

With this certificate program, you can qualify to work as a:

  • Health Records Assistant in both private and public healthcare facilities.
  • Data Entry Clerk
  • Data Registrar at Research Institutes
  • Research assistant at Research Institutes

 

 

2.     School of Public Health

Certificate in Nutrition and Dietetics

Entry requirements:

KCSE mean grade of D (plain)

Additionally, you should have at least D (plain) in the following cluster subjects:

  • English/Kiswahili
  • Biology/Biological Sciences,
  • Chemistry/Physical Sciences
  • Physics/Mathematics/Home Science/Agriculture

 

Fees:

Tuition: Kshs. 34,550 per trimester

Statutory fee: Kshs. 12,000

 

Course duration:

6 trimesters

 

Mode of study:

Full time

  • Community nutritionist

Certificate in Community Health and Development

Requirements:

KCSE mean grade of D+ (plus) or its equivalent with D (plain) in English/Kiswahili, and Mathematics/Physics/ Biology/chemistry/physical science/Biological science.

Tuition: Kshs. 29,550 per trimester

Statutory fee: Kshs. 12,000

3.     School of Pure and Applied Sciences

Certificate in Animal Health and Production

Requirements:

KCSE mean grade of C- or its equivalent, and C- in Biology or Biological Sciences

Tuition: Kshs. 29,550 per trimester

Statutory fee: Kshs. 12,000

 

Course duration:

7 Trimesters

 

Mode of study:

Full-time

 

Certificate in Artificial Insemination

Minimum entry requirements:

KSCE mean grade of C- (minus)

Alternatively, you can apply for the program if you have at least a Certificate in Animal Health from a Kenya Veterinary Board (KVB)-approved institution.

Fee:

Kshs. 38,600 per session

 

Course duration:

4 weeks sessions in April, August, December
