If you want to take nursing at the certificate level-perhaps you never met the minimum entry requirements for Direct Entry to a Diploma in Nursing(KRN) or BSC in Nursing- you may want to know more about colleges that offer certificate in nursing in Kenya.
Now, there are very few private colleges offering certificate in nursing in Kenya. Likewise, there are very few universities offering certificate in nursing in Kenya (It seems NCK has not approved any of these at the moment).

The best thing is that anyone who has completed a certificate in nursing course in Kenya can upgrade to the more prestigious Diploma in Nursing as soon as they’re done.
One final thing: Be sure to register with the NCK(The Nursing Council of Kenya) after getting your certificate – it is illegal to practice as a nurse in Kenya without being licensed by the NCK.
