Minimum Entry Qualifications:

For you to qualify to enroll for this Programme, you must have scored a mean grade of C- in KCSE.

In addition, you must also have scored the following grades in the mandatory subjects

Cluster subjects:

  • C- (Minus) in Mathematics or Commerce or Business Studies or Accounts or Economics
  • C-(minus) in English or Kiswahili

Course duration:

Each course takes 3 years

5.      Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management

Minimum Entry Qualifications

Mean grade of C- in your KCSE.

Cluster subject’s qualifications:

  • C- (minus) in any two or the following subjects: Geography/History
  • C- in either Business Education/English/Kiswahili/Foreign Language

6.      Diploma in ICT

Minimum Entry qualification:

To study this course, you must have a minimum grade of C plain in your KCSE.

Cluster subjects:

  • C in Mathematics, English, and Physics/ Physical Sciences

Intakes

Multimedia university has its intakes 3 times per year that is in January, May, and September.

Application process

 How to apply as a Government-Sponsored Students (KUCCPS)

  1. To apply as a government-sponsored student, you must have received an invitation from the institution (meaning you had selected the university as the university of your choice)
  2. With the invitation, go ahead and visit KUCCPS Student’s Portal  through kuccps.ac.ke.
  3. Next, enter all the details as instructed and make sure you either accept the Programme that has been offered to you or reject it and choose the one that you would like to pursue from the KUCCPS portal.
  4. After that, choose Multimedia university as your  preferred institution.
  5. Lastly, select the course you would like to pursue and submit

Self-Sponsored Students (SSP)

  1. To apply as an SSP student, start by making the right decision about the programme you want to undertake.
  2. From there, click on apply on this website (institution website).
  3. After that, proceed by filling out all the required information.
  4. Now, submit your application and wait patiently for your application ID which will definitely be sent once you have successfully applied.
  5. Lastly, pay application fee of Kshs. 500 for any diploma programme you would like to pursue.

  2. Enter the pay bill number as 522384.
  3. Proceed by entering the account number (here, enter your application number or KCSE index number).
  4. Next, enter the amount.
