Cascade institute of hospitality intake
Cascade Institute of Hospitality has three major intakes every year as follows:
- January every year(every academic year)
- May every year(every academic year)
- September every year(every academic year)
So apply well before the month you’d like to join.
For example, you can apply in the Month of November/December if you’d like to join in January.
Similarly, you can apply in the Month of March/April if you’d like to join in May.
Finally, you can apply in the Months of July/August if you’d like to join in September.
Keep in mind that new students for Cascade Institute Short courses normally join during school holidays as follows:
- April Holidays
- August Holidays
- December Holidays

You can also visit the College and pick up the application form and apply directly- just carry your KCSE result slips/certificate (photocopy) and your ID/waiting card.
Cascade Institute Location
The Institute is based in Thika town.
To be clear, you will find them at Cascade Plaza, along Kenyatta Highway in Thika Town
Mode of learning
You can study for any Cascade Institute courses on Full-time basis for both long term and short term Courses.
And as already mentioned, the intakes for short courses are during school holidays (April, August, December)
A word on examination schedules
Also note that you will sit for the exams(end of term) in the months of April, August, and December every year (if you’re taking any of their regular courses).
Besides, you’ll be required to write your final exams during specific months depending on the examination body of the course you’re pursuing.
For instance, KNEC exams are in July and March every year.
