FOO(Flight Operations Officer) course

The knowledge and abilities you require to become a flight dispatcher (also known as an airline dispatcher, flight follower, or flight operations officer) are taught here.

As a dispatcher, you help with myriad tasks including arranging flight paths while considering the performance(and loading) of the aircraft, en-route winds, airspace restrictions, forecasts for thunderstorms and turbulence, and other hazardous airport circumstances.

You will also offer flight following services and inform pilots of any changes in the weather when(and if) they occur.

Remember you’ll be operating out of an airline’s operations hub.

Qualifications

• 18 years old- At least.
• Good knowledge of English language (reading, speaking, writing & understanding).
• Medical fitness for FOO duties
• KCSE aggregate Grade of C-(Minus) or above or an equivalent for the Diploma. You need a D aggregate Grade to start at the Certificate level.

ATC(Air Traffic Control) course

CPL(Commercial Pilot License)

This is a management course and leads to well-paying jobs like airport manager, airlines manager or even an air commerce expert.

Minimum requirements:
