In a statement via their official social media handles @The.PlacementService on FaceBook, KUCCPS has announced that the KMTC placement results 2023 date has finally come and the results are already out..they released them on 23^rd August 2023 after what appeared to be an eternity of waiting by anxious students and parents/sponsors.

Results for Kenya Medical Training College placement are out. Successful students(applicants)have been notified via SMS.

Log in to KUCCPS students portal (students.kuccps.net) for further details.

KMTC placement results 2023 – how to check KMTC placement

Well, while KUCCPS said that you will be sent an SMS notifying you of the result, you may have to be patient because there was a huge number of applicants – apparently a staggering 42000  of you guys applied for KUCCPS KMTC courses so the process appears a bit slow.

In fact, sometimes KUCCPS sends the message to certificate applicants first so diploma applicants have to wait a little.

I should remind you that you may also see a Congratulations message once you log into KUCCPS student portal if you were lucky this time.

Otherwise, I recommend that you get in touch with KUCCPS via any Huduma Center near you or by using any of their official contacts (if you have waited for 1-2 days and you have not gotten the message).

That way, you can be sure whether you were lucky to get a place at KMTC or you missed out….but they usually send you a message telling you you were not successful if it is so.

What else you need to know

The release of the KUCCPS KMTC placement results comes as a relief to apprehensive parents and students as there were fears that there would be delays in their release following the move by parliament to ‘nullify’ the recruitment process undertaken by KUCCPS on behalf of KMTC citing a previous court order that had declared KMTC recruitment the sole responsibility of KMTC board.

But we all know that the KMTC board and KUCCPS recently made peace –via the ministry of education- leading to KUCCPS being allowed to carry out the recruitment.

Of course, that is good news to anyone who had applied since it means that for the first time, KMTC students will be benefiting from government funding schemes for students in public tertiary colleges in Kenya, which has not been the case in the past.

What about KMTC Admission letters?

We expect KMTC to commence the process of sending application letters to successful applicants immediately since the joining date is tentatively September.

So wait for the SMS communication advising you how to get the letter or visit the KMTC campus you were placed into and ask about it.

Sadly, about thousands of applicants out of the many thousands who applied are set to miss out on placement according to reports by KUCCPS
