Well, the duration depends on the specific course but most of the above certificates take between 12 months – 24 months.

How much is the fees?

Again the fees vary according to the course.

That said, you can budget between Kshs.13500 per semester  to  Kshs.80000 …for instance, if you take a KUCCPS certificate course in agriculture, the fees is about Kshs.13500 per year(based on the category of funding the government puts you in once you apply for funding).

At the same time, certificate in ecological agriculture costs kshs.77000 (last time I checked) at Manor House..

Oh, and make sure you have money for accommodation, meals, exam, transport, and other items including attachment expenses separately.

So the best thing is to contact the respective college to enquire about the fees..
