Before we get into the masters courses, here are the general requirements for the masters programs at UoN:

• A minimum of an upper second-class honours degree in the relevant discipline from the University of Nairobi, or equivalent qualification from institutions recognized by the university Senate.

Or,

• You can also be considered for admission with lower qualifications (such as second-class lower or a pass), but with publications and postgraduate diplomas after a bachelor’s degree.

UoN masters programmes – How to apply

To apply for a master’s program, you’ll need to go to the UoN’s application portal in order to obtain an application form.

Please keep in mind that you will have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Kshs. 3,000 (if you are an East African applicant) and 50 USD (if you are a foreign applicant). This application fee should be deposited in the following bank account:

Next, fill out the application form and attach copies of your degree certificates, transcripts, and the receipt for your application fees.

Finally, submit your application to the director of postgraduate studies.
