The Kenya Medical Training College  Chwele Campus is in Bungoma County and was opened in 2014.

KMTC Chwele offers these medical courses in Kenya.

These are:

  • Certificate in Health Records& Information Technology
  • Up-grading Diploma-Health Records& Information Technology.

It is important to note that the campus keeps growing and they are introducing new courses soon to match demand.

KMTC Chwele has 2 intakes every year:

  • May
  • September

And remember you do not apply direct these days…you have to channel your application through KUCCPS (Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service)..

Chwele KMTC Courses- Minimum Requirements

The minimum grade for Certificate is C- in KCSE (aggregate). In addition, will have to meet the cluster requirements.

For Diploma, the minimum is C plain in addition to the cluster subjects (which are very specific and vary depending on course).

Fee Structure

Like other KMTC campuses, the fees is standard at  Kshs.82,200 for the first Year and Kshs. 78,000.00 for Years 2 & 3.

Add accommodation and self maintenance here..an estimate based on the kind of lifestyle you maintain …could be 10k per month, 7k per month, 20k ….it’s you who decides here.
